Scandia Ultra Sauna Heater 12–18kW – 208/240/480V, 1 & 3 Phase

The Scandia Ultra Large electric sauna heater is a traditional Finnish-style, wall-mounted heater designed for cedar sauna rooms. This listing covers the 12kW, 15kW and 18kW sizes with a choice of voltage, phase, timer and thermostat location. The heater is hard-wired into the building and uses convection airflow with an elevated rock tray, so water can be ladled over the stones without reaching the elements.

Choose your configuration

• KW: 12kW, 15kW or 18kW. Pick the size that matches your room volume in the table below.
• Voltage - Phase: 208V or 240V, single-phase or three-phase, to match the electrical service at your site. 480V is offered as 12kW single-phase and 18kW three-phase.
• Timer: 60-minute or 24-hour timer. The 480V versions come with the 60-minute timer.
• Thermostat location: on a separate wall-mounted control box, or mounted on the heater.

Not every combination is offered; the notes above list the exceptions.

Sizing and amperage

Measure your room as length × width × height in feet, and allow extra margin for glass or exterior walls. Scandia does not list amperage for the 480V versions.
